Well this is a not going to be a fancy race report. But went and tried the Halloween Half Marathon, really Beautiful run and a lot of down hill. Started out pretty conservative and that was really hard to do because of the down hill on the course. Don't know what my splits were because I left my garmin at home, and the miles were long and short never were consistant. So basically the whole entire run was off of feel. Around mile 6 I passed about 5 or 6 runners maybe even more that were already blown up from going out to fast on the down hill. Passed 3 more on the Parkway path and almost caught Ken Richardson only because he had a bathroom stop.

Overall time  1:10:18 on my watch. Legs felt good and happy with a New PB!! Felt like I could have attacked the course harder but knew I had to stay conservative because of  the Ibigawa Marathon in Japan in a couple of weeks. Really would love to run well over there.

Congrats to Riley Cook who tore the course up today!! 1:07!! New PB for him also!!!

One more hard week of workouts and a taper for Ibigawa  then the season is over!! Going to enjoy a small break resting my body.

Good race today! You looked strong when I saw you running through the parking lot just before mile 11. Keep it up.

@james- sorry I didn't see ya, we're you volunteering or on a morning run. I saw Sasha running up the course around mile 12.

Nice job Ben. Enjoy the last couple workouts as you get prepped for Japan... that should be a fun trip and race!

Awesome Run. I've heard the mileage is all messed up on this course. My friends paced it last year and they all said how off the markers were.
